"Titanmoon's Film Black [is an] exceedingly melancholy and ineffably beautiful album ... In a righteous world, Film Black [would] establish Titanmoon as a major headliner."- Fort Worth Weekly 2/20/08
With this local band's third album, the ambitious Film Black, once again the question has to be asked: Why aren't these guys huge? Led by stylish singer Tyler Casey and versatile guitarist Nathan Schneidewent, Titan Moon swerves from sharp Killers hooks and sweeping U2 uplift to melodic indie-pop romanticism that would fit right in a Grey's Anatomy episode.
- Star-Telegram 2/17/08
These dense, indie-rock compositions have an epic sweep and clear-eyed emotional heft. Together, Tyler Casey, Nathan Schneidewent, Trey Ware and Zack Felton have crafted one of the early great local albums of 2008.

once upon a time
One day at a small convenience store just outside Fort Worth, Texas, four guys all reached for the last bag of m&ms. One got ahold of it, and the other three were audibly disappointed. "Ok," the champion said, "we'll share."
"But I want the green!" "I get the red!" "Yellow ones are mine!" "Don't touch the brown!" were all to be heard simultaneously.
They all looked up at eachother in awe. This had to be fate. Each had their own distinct preferred m&m, and each was different, complimentary, .... perfect.
Over the next 30 minutes of m&m sorting, talking, and laughing, Trey, Nate, Zack and Tyler had all become fast friends. They decided to compare their druthers. Nate liked orange popsicles, Zack liked grape. Tyler and Trey liked cherry and lime, respectively. Tyler liked the top hat Monopoly piece, Nate used the iron, Trey liked the car and Zack loved the thimble. None of them could believe it. They had such a good time contrasting and comparing their opinions and thoughts - it's as if they were pieces of a puzzle made to fit together. "Hey, do any of you guys play music?" Trey asked. "Yes!" the other three shouted together. They quickly looked at eachother in excitement, "What instrument do you play?" "Guitar!" "Piano!" "Drums!" "Bass!"
The rest was history.
it's all for you.
